The beds are huge and comfy, making for an excellent night's rest. The hotel sits on a small street, providing a quiet environment despite the bustling city just beyond.

The wifi connection is noticeably poor throughout the hotel, affecting the ability to stay online. Rooms feel a bit dated, and certain bathrooms lack adequate shower pressure. some even have awkward layouts that make getting in and out of the shower a challenge.

The staff were incredibly welcoming, always ready to help with suggestions for activities. The breakfast selection was delightful, offering a great start to our days. We loved the cozy atmosphere and the beautiful decor.

Our room needed some upkeep, particularly the amenities which could be improved. We experienced a leak from the bathroom, requiring us to ask for repairs, which detracted from our comfort.

This hotel exceeded expectations with its spacious family room and exceptionally tasty breakfast choices. The staff were welcoming and went the extra mile, especially when we asked about local attractions. However, I would have preferred a slightly quieter environment in the evenings.

The Splendid Star Grand Hotel felt welcoming from the moment I arrived. The spacious room allowed for plenty of movement, perfect after a long travel day. My room had a view of the charming St Joseph Cathedral, though the bells ringing consistently might be distracting for others. The staff provided excellent assistance, especially when I needed help planning my day. Breakfast offered a decent variety, but I wished for better quality options. The hotel’s location is convenient, just a short walk to the lake and nearby attractions, making exploring Hanoi easy. One downside was the Wi-Fi. it was quite poor throughout the hotel, which made it hard to stay connected. Also, a few amenities were a bit outdated and could use some refreshment, but the overall hospitality made up for those small issues.

The Splendid Star Grand Hotel And Spa is a hidden gem in the heart of Hanoi. My family and I enjoyed the spacious Family Suite, complete with huge comfy beds and large windows for natural light. Breakfast was a feast! From pho to fresh fruits, it catered to all tastes and certainly fueled our adventures in the nearby bustling Old Quarter.
